7 Day Nature Based Learning Holiday

Day 1

We depart Johannesburg/Pretoria at about 9am and head for Sebele Safari Camp in the remote, untamed Northwest Province. We stop off at the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage site as well as at the famous (or is that infamous) Sun City, before arriving at our destination in the afternoon. We may even stop to have a drink at a local shebeen (bush pub) once we reach the African bush.

Stage highlights:
Cradle of Mankind, Sun City, Travel through the African bush, Drinking magau (local African beer) at a shebeen (don't worry, you will get your own glass and it has been quality checked!!)

Day 2

Nature Based Learning. We present a course that covers Nature, History and Culture. Topics include Bush navigation and orientation, Animal tracking and animal behaviour, Bird identification and behaviour, Plant identification and uses, Sleep-out in bush, Bush skills and survival, Approaching dangerous game Setting up a bush camp, Handling of firearms and rifle shooting exercises Game capture & culling, The Big 5, The small 5 and activities such as abseiling, booze cruises, fun sport, African cooking, Tribal dancing and much more.

Everything you have even wanted to know about Africa all wrapped up in one experiencial learning adventure.

Stage duration:5 Days

Day 7

"Graduation" ceremony and long farewells. After a bush brunch, we then hit the road and deliver you back to Johannesburg or Pretoria.

A satisfied feeling, many new friends and an appreciation for Africa.
